Cozy Chili Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or chicken
2 cans kidney beans, drained
2 cans chili beans (with liquid)
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1-2 tsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
2 tbsp brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a large pot, brown the ground beef or chicken over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add the drained kidney beans, chili beans (with liquid), oregano, and Italian seasoning. Stir well to combine.
Add hot sauce and brown sugar, adjusting the sweetness and heat to your preference.
Let the chili simmer on low for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot!
